Ellepot Organic 16 Weeks is OMRI listed, making it a safe, reliable, and well tested solution for organic farming.
Ellepot specializes in developing propagation papers for all crop types, and with Ellepot Organic 16 Weeks, we have one of the markets highest performing potting options for organic growers and eco-friendly growers of both indoor and outdoor crops.
NEW PATENTED TECHNOLOGY
Ellepot Organic 16 Weeks is another specially developed and patented Ellepot Paper, and it is made with bio-based materials and has a degradation time of 16 weeks. This means that growers will be able to handle the plug in the nursery for 16 weeks, before the paper reaches a level of degradation where the plant should either be harvested, transplanted into a larger pot, or planted into the field.
Ellepot Organic 16 Weeks is made with bio-based materials and based on natural, raw materials from FSC®-certified forests and other controlled and renewable resources. Regenerated fibers from plants are added for reinforcement along with a biodegradable binder that is produced with Nobel Prize winning technology.
The FSC® certificate is our and your guarantee for sustainable forest management.
With years in the making, we have conducted research and testing to develop just the right texture, durability, and performance for Ellepot Organic 16 Weeks.
The FSC® label ensures that the forest products used are from responsibly harvested and verified sources.
‘Environmentally conscious motivation on the part of the customers is exactly the reason why there is a need for an independent, high-quality guarantee of the renewability of raw materials. The “OK biobased” certification meets that need perfectly.’

The special characteristics in the paper provide fragile roots an excellent protection and let roots grow perfectly through after transplanting without transplant shock.
Recommendation:
We recommend this paper for use in short-cycle propagation. Growers will be able to handle the plug in the nursery for 16 weeks, before the paper reaches a level of degradation where plants should either be harvested, transplanted into a larger pot, or planted into the field.
We recommend using a low tray for optimized air circulation to the roots.
We also recommend a bench environment with frequent wet/dry-cycles until plant out.
OMRI listed in the US for use in organic production.
